Our Story

Like many of the best stories, ours didn’t quite happen when or where we expected it to.

We often laugh that although we both studied in Melbourne, our paths must have crossed countless times without us ever knowing. Somehow, it took both of us moving to the Gold Coast for us to finally meet in 2020, right in the middle of a global pandemic. The timing may have been unexpected, but it turned out to be pretty perfect.

Since then, we’ve made our way back to Melbourne and built a life here that we love. We’re happiest travelling and discovering new places, spending time with our friends and families, trying new restaurants and always having our next adventure somewhere in the works. Family is a huge part of our lives, and one of our favourite roles is being Aunty Hannah and Uncle Nihal to our nieces and nephews.

We love having people around, sharing good food and a few drinks, and finding any excuse to celebrate. More than anything, we love the life we’re creating together and are always dreaming about what might come next.

Six years after we first met, Nihal brought things full circle, proposing on the very same Gold Coast beach where our story began. It was the perfect full-circle moment and proof that some places really do hold a little magic.

Now we can’t wait for the next chapter and to celebrate it in the way that feels most like us: surrounded by our favourite people, plenty of good food, lots of laughter and a very full dance floor.
